Inrico, in partnership with its global collaborator iConvNet, delivered an advanced LTE-PMR convergent solution that addressed PLN's communication needs. The solution allows seamless integration between Push-to-Talk (PoC) radios and traditional PMR systems, enabling PLN to maintain constant communication across its entire network, even in remote areas.
The Inrico T320 PoC radios were selected for their ruggedness and reliability. These devices are specifically designed for demanding work environments, such as construction sites or maintenance work in the field. The T320 features a powerful speaker for clear communication in noisy environments, a dedicated SOS button for emergency alerts, and a large 3,500 mAh battery to support long work shifts. These features ensure that PLN’s field staff can work safely and effectively, knowing that communication is always within reach.
The iConvNet platform, as Inrico's global partner, provides seamless dispatching and integration capabilities. It allows PLN to create hybrid communication groups that include both PoC and PMR radios, enabling teams on-site to communicate effectively, whether they are using DMR radios or PoC devices. This flexibility is particularly useful for PLN teams working in different locations, ensuring that everyone stays connected, regardless of the type of radio they use.
The system also offers real-time LTE data transmission, which is critical for tracking personnel and equipment during maintenance tasks. With integrated voice and data capabilities, PLN’s teams can respond quickly to any situation, improving overall operational efficiency and safety.
