Inrico, a global leader in wireless communications, partnered with iConvNet, its global technology collaborator, to deliver a tailored communication and dispatching solution for the Zhuhai Police and local schools. This solution bridges police forces and campus security staff, fostering better coordination during emergencies and routine operations.
Violence Control Instrument Management
Inrico PoC radios integrate with motion detection sensors installed on security equipment like steel forks and shields. These sensors track whether the equipment is in use or idle and relay the status to PoC terminals via Bluetooth. In cases of misuse, the PoC radio emits audio reminders to guide proper usage. Simultaneously, the device transmits the data to the command center for centralized monitoring, allowing prompt action to ensure safety compliance.
One-Touch SOS Alerts
Security equipment is equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled SOS button linked to the PoC handheld terminal. During emergencies, security personnel can press the SOS button to initiate an emergency group call, trigger real-time video streaming from the paired PoC radio, and send GPS location data to the police command center. Dispatchers can instantly identify nearby officers and send reinforcements, ensuring swift and efficient responses.
Direct Communication from Police Command Center
When an alert is triggered, the command center can remotely activate the camera of the associated PoC radio for real-time surveillance. Dispatchers can initiate direct calls with the specific security personnel handling the incident, providing guidance and maintaining situational control.
Interoperable Police-Security Collaboration
The system facilitates seamless collaboration between police using PDT radios and school security personnel using PoC radios. In emergencies, a unified communication group allows direct commands from police to security guards. PDT radios are prioritized, ensuring police instructions take precedence. This hierarchical setup strengthens command efficiency during critical incidents.
Cross-System Interoperability
iConvNet, as Inrico’s global partner, supports the solution by providing cross-departmental communication capabilities. The platform integrates telecommunications VPNs with public safety networks, allowing data such as voice, video, GPS, and equipment status to flow seamlessly between systems.
